Would i need to disconnect the swaybar for a re4.5" lift to allow axle with enough droop to fit springs or can i leave it attatched. I am not going to install the diconnects
You will have to remove and I don't think it will fit back on there with that lift. My 2" budget lift was too much for the front swaybar on my 89. I just threw it away. Doesn't seem to feel any different than my 91 w/no lift.
RE springs are really stiff. you can run without swaybars if you like. i have the re6130 4.5" and i think it rides better without SB. its too stiff with them
I even disconnected my UCA's and took off my front D/S. I hate using spring compressors. I've driven my jeep around the block with the disconnects off once, I'll never do it again. It felt like I was driving a rubber band.
