So we started out to see some Hummers do themselves in. Which seemed to be a little tame after a few minutes. there were over 50 Hummers there however 1's, 2's, and 3's. So we all headed out to test our new equipment. Lockers (4 jeeps, 4Aussies), skids, t-cases, and my new Y-link. All worked supremely well. Some of the obstacles were a little tamer than normal so we spent the day trying to create new lines and routes up the same old stuff. Lots of fun. Then our damage for the day happened. We always seem to have some sort of damage, but this time was a little better than normal. Jody (opracer) tried a very difficult, steep, and offcamber line. When all of a sudden there was a loud POP! The front axle was toast. He drove it up and out of the hole so we could get to the axle, when he got to the top (maybe 15yds) his front wheel all but fell off. The lower ball joint mount on the outer "C" gave out and broke. This also caused the upper balljoint to become dislodged. He was dead in the water. Luckly we are a little slow to recycle our old axles from various swaps and we had spares to fix this at my dad's house. So off went dad to retrieve parts, took around 1 to 2 hrs for him to return. While he was gone it was back to standard shenanigans and creating new ways of old lines, I nearly rolled coming off a ledge due to bad tire placement. I had to remove my seat from my a$$ with a crow bar, it took 3-4 guys to hold down my rear so I could drive out. We, well I had a few new dents and a beat to hell rear bumper, I don't think there was any other damage for the day. Dad showed back up and we put the jeep back together in undr 15 minutes, and back on the road. All in all a great day.

We didn't hang out with the hummers to much. Here are some of are pics for the day.

Brandon learning that Jeeps are better the Yotas

Trevor proving Jeeps are better. Notice the Hummer in the background, he turned around.

The Blazer I was talking about before. We heard later that someone pop the steering column and towed it out.

Trevor trying where Kelly flopped last time. We all made it.

Playing around on the snake. We had a hard time making it difficult.

Ben screwing around where George and Cicely flopped in the tube buggy.

Video of Ben trying a little drop.

Something is not right.

Trevor needed a crowbar to pry the seat from his a$$

We were not the only ones with problems. This guys group was borrowing tools to fix a broken drive shaft about fifty feet away.

We all had a great time. To let you know all the XJ were test out front lockers for the first time. I was the only one with damage. Here are the rest of the pics.

All right we have just about got Opracers jeep back together. We went to the self service parts yard and got an axle with 4.10s allready in it. Needed a new axle due to ball joint mounts being streched and taking no force to reinstall. We have done new ball joints, seals, drag link, reinstalled front Aussie, and other various items. She will be together and aligned by tonight and ready for the "Cabin Fever" run this saturday in Pinehurst, Idaho. www.nitrailblazers.org

Well we finally got Opracers jeep back together and better than ever. Lots of new little pieces and such. He's back on the road and ready for this weekend.

Can Man just let us know when and we'd more than happy to show you around what we know and what we can find.

More than happy??? Sounds like a strange condition doesn't it.
Well he's more than happy, we had to medicate him and place him in a home.

Any one hear about the guy who fell in the upholstery machine????

He's fully recovered!
