Stolen XJ in Chicago

A buddy from another mailing list just had his XJ taken in the south of Chicago. Please feel free to move this post in a more appropriate spot. Here's his message:

Hello all
Keep you eye out for my Jeep, or parts of it please. Thieves finally got it last nite.

Front and rear Hidden Hitch, Cargo Rack with folding adapter, Yakima Roof rack for skiis and bikes.
Canyon rims with Duellie Tires 235-15"
Navy blue with bad/gone clear coat on upper surfaces

In Chicago, IL on the South Side near the Museum of Science and Industry.
It has been reported to the police, but my hopes are not too high. :-(

If thats any where near the Sox stadium its no wonder why it got stolen. That place is down right scary even in the day!

I hope it was insured. Good luck to him.
 
I am so glad that i moved away from that place. The city was killing me!
My girls car was stolen when we lived there, the police found it but it was in pieces. I would check around Archer Ave for any burnt frames..
