Someone wants to make some really cool light doors for their 4dr XJ right????
These were made quite a while back, passed around to a few different folks and still haven't been finished.
These would make great weather protection doors for you guys that go doorless and want something to toss on when it's sloppy out. Great for when your rig is parked at the campsite and the weather rolls in..... they'd keep your interior nice and dry, and then stow fairly conveniently in the back or in the tent or wherever when not used.
Get 'em covered with canvas and clear window material, or make mounting tabs to put clear lexan over them, or?
They just need Wrangler soft door latches, or modify them to use a simple hardware gate latch.
These are set up for the earlier model XJ door hinges, won't work on '97+ without fabbing different mounts/pins to work with the later hinge design.
$80 for the pair....... There's easily $40 in round bar for each door and the time taken to make these puts you well ahead of the project! These fit right in tight with the door sills, the bends and contours were well fitted.
