steering wheel play

Did anyone ever solve this problem with the bushing play in the steering shaft?

I have exactly the same problem and had been banging my head against the wall for days until I read this thread and an earlier one (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=52562&highlight=play+steering
). So now at least I know where it comes from. Now, how do I solve it? Anyone knows?
