I don't know if any of you have seen this posted anywhere else, but here is the link where I read about it. http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/show...-Trail-Plates-only-300-more-signatures-needed

Stay The Trail is trying to get enough signatures to get some license plates made for us "wheelin" guys. The license plates will provide funding and create awareness for Stay The Trail's off-highway vehicle (OHV) educational and ethics programs. The programs highlight responsible OHV use on public lands in an effort to provide a sustainable recreational experience for OHV users and to keep trails and roads open to public access. Looks like they are extremely close to the 3,000 limit, so if you guys would like to see these plates made, fill out your info in the link below.

I am informed that, as of now, we only need 250-300 signatures to meet the minimum. However, we only have about 2 weeks to obtain those signatures.

Please go here: http://staythetrail.org/plates/ and sign the petition.

Thanks!

FYI - To date, we received 642 signatures through the online petition compared to about 2,000 hand written signatures. Thanks to everyone who has already signed the petition in either format!

Anyone can sign and signing does not obligate you to do or buy anything in the future.

It looks like we picked up about 30 online signatures last night. Track the progress here:

Come on guys...it takes a minute to fill this out! You are not obligated in any way to purchase these if you fill it out, they just need to show the state that there is enough interest in these to get them made.

Stay The Trail is an awesome organization that their sole purpose is to help keep our trails open so we can use them!

Good deal guys!! Thanks for filling those out!

So far in roughly 4 days, the Electronic signature count went from 642 to 856!!

Just found out they still need 147 signatures by THIS FRIDAY!! So for those of you who want these to happen, round up anybody you can think of to sign this petition.

If they do not get these signatures by Friday, it is a lost cause, and they will have to start from zero next year.
