So, my ‘01 has the flex plate knock. I tightened down the bolts which helped for a bit but it’s back. Based on what I’ve read here I’m betting the holes are ovaled out and/or the plate is cracked. I figured I’d just buy a new plate now and head it off at the pass before the thing takes a dump on me at the least opportune moment (like out in the middle of nowhere, with my luck...)
Anyone found a source for one that doesn’t suck? Should I do anything else while I have this being fixed? Torque converter maybe?
