someone with a 35 spline d60 help

i need to know what the diameter is on the splines of a 35 spline d60, im trying to figure out if a 35 spline shaft will fit into the housing i have now. so i need the diameter at the widest point in the shaft, at the splines.

That's right on the diameter of the splines. However, just for information, I have a front HP D60 from a '90 F350 and the shafts actually get larger than the splines just beyond the splines! Jeff

very few D60 came with 35 spline shafts.if it didn't come with 35 spline the hub has to be machinced out to fit the bigger 35.

well in that case do you know if the aftermarket alloy shafts tapere down gradualy down toward the outer end of the shaft? the stock shafts i have sradualy taper down slightly towared the outer end.
