Should I get new lines with ac comp?

My xj has a hole in the compressor when the PO leaned in the engine bay and snapped the fitting off. Should I get new lines? I’ve never done ac repair before so I don’t know if I should just replace the compressor or get lines or anything else aswell.

What year is it and how long has that hose been broke?

Probably if they never have been changed before.

It’s a 95. Given the rest of the history from the owner I’d say 2-3 years at most

If the compressor has been open to the environment that long you may need to replace almost everything.
