I believe my windshield is leaking. Whats the best way to seal it?

Seal it from the inside with URETHANE, not silicone or butyl tape. Sealing it from the outside will only make life a living hell if u ever need a w/s replacement. My question would be why is it leaking? Was it ever changed before, and if it was, is it a shoddy bead or is there rust? If there's any rust, you can reseal it all you want and it's not gonna matter.

I had my windshield leaking few years ago and
took it to a local glass company.
They sealed it from the outside with tons of urethane.
Didn't fix the problem. Couple weeks later took it back for a new gasket.
And the installer(pissed) asked what idiot put all the sealer in there.
"That guy over there." Installer didn't say another word.

Are you SURE it's the windshield? I thought for sure mine was leaking but it turned out to be the blower/firewall gasket.

I will have to look and see if its the firewall. After a heavy rain there is a puddle on the passenger side floor. I cant find out where its coming from. I think its the windshield.

If you have glass ins, just crack it with a hammer and make a phonecall...
