Let's try this again since auto correct didn't like my mistakes. Where are you guys getting your reamers from when doing the 1 ton steering conversion.

Well looks like it is less expensive to buy the kit with inserts. Was hoping to save a little bit. $40.00 plus dollar difference between the one with inserts vs no inserts.

RuffStuff Specialties, I bought the inserts from them but they have reamers for sale too. Reamer.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Serious Offroad steering. No reaming . Drill add inserts. Lot easier.

No cutting/welding.

It's a no-brainer

Got a reamer off of amazon. Like $50 or $60. The reviews were legit so I went for it. I have reamed knuckles and pitman arm and have used it on other projects. Just as a shade tree fabber it is handy when drilling large holes in steel.

Good cutting fluid and not smoking it out will keep it alive no problem.

Aluminium links. Tapered holes instead of inserts.
