Here's a quote from Rand Paul. While I have voted Republican lately, rather than independent as is my preference, I am not overly fond of the old school Republicans. I like this quote. For me, it indicates there is some hope for the future.

The GOP of old has grown stale and moss-covered. I don’t think we need to name any names, do we? Our party is encumbered by an inconsistent approach to freedom. The new GOP will need to embrace liberty in both the economic and the personal sphere.

the only issue is that if he's just saying these things so that people will think hes different then the old stale party, although I've heard good things about him from people on both sides of the fence
