One use for old seat belts

My new to me ZJ's PPO had a dog that ate the original seat belts. I replaced them when I got it but kept the old ones. I wanted a new strap for my Nikon so I used a piece of one of the belts. I used some of those plastic disconnects so I could remove it when on a tripod. Seat belt + history professor elbow pad + para cord =

That larger disconnect hooks to the strap and the other end hooks to my belt so the camera is tied to my side when I am on a bike.

And the resultant mess:

Next will be a wrist strap.

Thanx. It turned out better than I had anticipated and is very comfortable. I wish I could take a pic of it attached to the camera, but since I gave my other camera to my mother all I have is my potato phone camera.
