Oil pan is stuck !!

I use Rubber valve cover Gasket no leaks

with or without RTV? How long with no leaks? Thanks.

Generally, one or the other, but not both.

I put a rubber seal on the oil pan on my 94 in 2003, IIRC. Still holding.

I keep a set of very sharp wood chisels in my tool box just for removing parts that were "glued" on. Then when I get done I use them to scrape down the surfaces before I hit them with a wire wheel.
