I had to read that part of the FSM quite a few times before I could believe it!
By now, there isn't a whole lot of anything that surprises me when it comes to electrics--especially if the French were involved.
Back in the early eighties had to re-wire a number of Peugeot 604s that burned up from gas station/parts store dorks putting the wrong batteries in them and they ended up shorting out with the hood.
The Peugeot 505 gas cars used incredibly thin wiring, and I counted 35 relays in one of them.
