So I here that the President is "Going it alone" to attack ISIL and that he is going to have a press conference tonight to tell the world exactly how he's going to do that.
According to the "War Powers" act of 1973, he is allowed to do that...
But what about funding from Congress? It seems to me that buy in is essential.
And why are we always telling this Countries enemies what we are going to do and when? Why don't we just keep it to ourselves then when the time is right, just do it.
I have no doubt that ISIL is as much of a threat any any other large terrorist group with a multi-national following, but this seems a bit more like political gesturing than good planning.
