NP242HD NV242HD availability...

I have notice a lot of guys with WJ's refer to their t-cases as the HD version.... in years 2002 and 2003 behind V8's, Is this true or not? I wouldnt want to spend the time or money looking for a WJ NP242 if it is not in fact an NP242HD .

Also are they 23 spline?

Yes, V8 WJ's had the optional 242HD. I don't believe it will mount to anything besides the 545RFE transmission in the WJ's though.

it has a 23 spline input and 32 outputs on front and back... I believe I can do a SYE with a 32spline yoke... I am researching and this is a project some ways away... so .

input on hd is 2.5" on stock it is .84"
no speedo hole on HD... so that might b a problem...
