Nominations of Southern California NAXJA officers

The Nominations/Elections committee is taking suggested names for the election of President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer for the Southern California Chapter of .

If you would like to be nominated or you would like to submit a name for nomination, please email one of the email addresses listed in this message by March 30. Please give the full name and a phone number, if you have it. If you are submitting a name other than your own, we ask that you have contacted that person first and confirmed with them that they would be willing to serve for a 2year term and that they want to be nominated.
The nomination committee will be in contact with each person that they receive also for confirmation and understanding of what the expectations and duties of each office is.
The nominations will be made by the Nominations committee on March 31. The election will be held, by poll, on the Members Only site between April 1st and 6th. The announcement of officers will be on April 7.

New Dates for Nominations and Elections

The Nomination and Election Committee has changed the date for the completion of submitting names for the election of officers for the Chapter.
The date for submitting names will be extended to April 25,2003
The information on the nominees and the election will be posted April 26.
The nominees will submit information about themselves and why they want to become an officer in the Chapter. This information will be posted on the forum for everyone to use to help make the decision on who they want to vote for.
The election will take place by a special poll on the members only site between April 26 and May 4, 2003.
Announcement of the officers will be on May 5th.
