well I guess its my turn...
Huge thanks to Brandon for speaking up and inviting the naxja crew out. this was the best weekend for weather and wheeling all summer!
I pushed all night Friday to get ready and packed. at 10pm, irealized we would be better off heading out in the morning. we arrived stopped in at eh stageing area to se if there were any others waiting, none we there. then we were met by Moparr440. he had a spot reserved for the sleeper and said ther was a rather large group of xj gathering up at brandons camp.:yelclap: we got unhitched, aired down, lunch loaded, intake loaded, and were ready to roll out. There was a rather unorganized poker run going on that day, so trails were going to be a "play it by ear" kind of thing. we headed for university then to cedar tree.
all was the usual. got to the top, and realized the cedar tree was open for business

next we were on to FB5. the 1st section was blocked by 2 tjs. rather unwilling to disscuss the situation with us we decided to head to the 2nd section

Matt through the trees
Group shot at the top. weather was amazing!
josh, in his favored habitat
the plan from here was to check out the progress on saddle up. I also wanted to walk a few of the people down to the face on 7up. They were blasting at the quarry so we decided to head for camp, Brandon was skin and bones by this point. we feared loosing him if camp sustenance was not achieved.
there had murmers about night running, so after life support was applied at camp x. we were ready to go again. Archers is alwase a good night run so that where we headed. hoodraiser, hogsback, all the way to waterfall.
Matt had been poking at us the whole night about this tsf having nothing but wanker trails, and was laying the groundwork for a shot at something harder. his penis wa WAY bigger than mine, brandons, or mikeys. we were all looking forward to it the following day. with matt challenging my manhood all the way back to the jeeps. "Get in Line" I say to him. I rolled through the filter no problem. Took a good bump, but all was well. Matt was next, Got the lucky bump:yelclap: then Brandon, living up to his word of" if you guys do it ill do it" lined up his jungle jim. He unfortunately got the unlucky bump. the leep leaned to the passenger side and with tires spinning, he landed on a rock (front pass side) destroying a 260x joint. I had spare shafts, and ujoints back at camp. so I did my best to back him out and restore Zen as he went for the tool box.
matt and I headed for the ledge, Mopar440 awating the show. I took the normal line, and with a small adjustment, crawled right up. 1st time at night . felt really good. I jumped out to spot matt up, who at this point way 1/2 way up behind me. I knew 2 months ago his jeep was stock, and he had Never seen the obstacle he was climbing. I RAN :looney:. he had the line, just needed some reassurance that he was in the right spot. Nailed it! Then he got so excited he kept momentum, and was headed right at the left line! "passenger Passenger, PASSENGER,
PASSENGER!!!!!" I shouted. realizing he finaly hit the brakes! :yelclap:
Nice show man! we 3 at the top headed down to help Brandon finnish patching things up.
Off to camp we go. 4+ hrs later. with another day of wheeling in the sunshine ahead!
