Guy at work has a '89 XJ I don't have the fsm for (mine a '96).
The symptom is a high idle that slowly climbs as the car warms up.
His MAP sensor input voltage is 12 volts (!) and I know it should be ~5
The next step would be to make sure someone didn't mess with the harness and check the output at the ECU (or whatever its called on a '89), but I've found conflicting info on the web about the MAP pinout at the ECU - some say it's 13, some say it's 16. Anyone know which is correct?
Thanks
