Looking for some header/cat/downpipe feedback

My 98 intake manifold had no clearance issues, perfect fit.

I was trying to upgrade to the newer design from a 99+ when I had the clearance issue. I may have been able to grind some material away but opted not to.
I thought that I had read in previous posts that others had the same problem with 99+ intakes on earlier models.

im looking at getting the borla or gibson header...are they any better than APN as far as power?
