mine looks like that and it is a lsd

You might double check to make sure. I have been told by several people and forum users that this is an open differential not LSD.

well i thought that aslo but i have a lsd tag on the rear axle also a warning sticker in the glove box which said it had a locking type differential. but i guess i will have to take a closer look

Alright if you have the tag and the sticker in the glove box then you probably do have the LSD. I was told you should see some sort of springs in the carrier or on the outside of the carrier(most likely wrong on the spring location so somebody chime in..).

Once I get the cash, I will pop the cover on my D44 Trac-loc and take a couple pics.....


I KNOW mine is an LSD....

It works!!!!! Now I've added a little LSD additive.....
