Just getting my XJ

Well I just bought my first Jeep Cherokee. I am a proud Jeep Commander owner and post often on there forum.

Well i purchased a 1987 Jeep Cherokee Wagoneer Limited.

I paid a good lil bit for it at 1000 bucks. With 185,000 miles

Needs a lil work before it is street worthy and a LOT before i take it offroad any.

I am new to the Cherokee so forgive me if i ever ask some stupid questions and i will do a search through forums for advice before i ask.

Forgive for stating the obvious but check the transfer case fluid and listen for noises. Mine blew apart at 182,000 miles with fluid. I am told that the chain stretches over time then slaps around and load shocks.

Yeah one of my friends who turned me on to the old cherokee is there now. I wanted to go but my Jeep gets delivered Sunday so i am patiently waiting for it... Plus i hate the COLD
