The only "stop leak" that I trust to use is the blue devil brand, it seems to work pretty good, and doesn't gum up anything. When I first got my XJ it had zero coolant leaks, about 6 months in the radiator had split, or so we thought. The PO had used enough of the nasty stop leak that it had sealed the whole side of the radiator
