well, this weekend we went on an outing in Ramsey NJ [i was a bit reluctant to join because i wasnt quite sure about the legality of the trails...]
however, as it turns out there were NO "no trespassing" "private property" or any other type of signs there ANY where on the miles of trails we were on. [although we were made aware that if we were to have made a left at a certain point, it would have been county property and we'd have been in loads of trouble had we been caught.
so anyway, it was not illegal.
on the trip was: me [94 chero], my buddy [white 89 yj], a buddy who owns a shop [88 yj to the right of the photo], and three of his buddies - - in order from left to right-- 01 tj 7" lift 33s, explorer sportrax couple inches and 33s, and another tj with 6.5 and 35s.
all open diffs except the white yj [a posi, not a locker]
the trails were pretty easy. a lot of spots were 2wd. but there were some spots that got my rear puckered a bit. almost flopped at one point, but saved my self with a bit of gas and some good spotting.
actually there were a couple almost flops, but we managed to get out with no damage. [the only damage i suffered was a dent in the rear right fender well -which means all the more insentive for me to trim :confused1 ]
anyway, here are some pics i took with my phone. im trying to get a hold of the videos and pics that the spotters took, but im not sure if ill be able to...
