Introduction

Hi All!
Just joined and figured I would post up an intro n hello. Just got a 98 XJ 4.0 aw4 auto with a meager 128k on it. And immediately found the need to connect to a good tech/community resource the day I drove it home LOL
Shift cable failed within the first half mile of my 60 mile ride. Luckily it was stuck in D and not 2nd or reverse or the ride could have been a whole lot longer!

Welcome! As far as Tech goes, I'll say you've definitely found the right place. Sorry to hear of your trouble, but it's not too awful bad of a fix. And I'm a little envious, I have a 98 and and 01 and truth be told the 98 gave me less grief. With the low miles that's a pretty good score if it's not rusted to dust. Glad you could join us, keep the posts coming with some pics!
