How to check proper bump stop

Disconnect the shocks at the axle end and measure the front and rear shock travel extended and compressed from mount to mount. Then flex the jeep while shocks are still disconnected and measure the distances between body and axle at the shock mounts. Subtract 1 inch from the smallest measurement and set your bumpstops to that distance.
