Help with t-case

recently with dfriving my '98 with a np241 it has started wining and sometimes screaming at me while im driving it. However 4-wheel drive still engages though. the noise seems like it is coming from where the front shaft goes into the t-case. anyone ever have this or know anything about this? help is greatly appreciated!

Any fluid inside ? Check the output shaft bearings. Are you sure it isn't the drive shaft making the noises ?

check fluid and if its good, remove the front driveshaft and see if the noise persists. when you have the driveshaft out, give the yoke a shake and check for excessive play
