help id these rear springs

sorry no pic.they are brand new, he claims they are rear 6 in for a jeep xj.they have been sitting for a few yrs in his basement and they have no eye bushings.both ends are military wrapped and there are 5 leaves.they clearly have this stenciled on the top leaf 4WD240.
anyone know who may be the mfg of these?
