if I was closer Id give you a hand, I just did mine. Its not that bad. put the jeep in reverse while cutting and drilling, NOT tapping, and it will help you cut the shaft square. and I used the edge of a grinding wheel to kind of cup the center of the shaft alittle so when I drilled the hole it bit found the center easily. other then that just follow the directions and you should do fine.

I guess I'll try that. I can't believe I'm getting vibes from a BB. 96 XJ's are total PITA's.

I havent done one but it shouldnt be too hard i know enough guys that have done them on their own.
