you should use it to make a swing out bumper hoist, to pick up stuff like rocks and engines and fat chicks

You could even use it to lift my jeep out of the mud pit, after you are done with the fat chicks

I think you're onto somthing with the ujoint press idea... hammers, clamps, and sockets are no fun at all. you'd be the only guy on the trail with an on-board hydraulic press.

with some ingenuity you could make it raise the rear end if you get high-centered, assuming it's strong/long enough.

I have too much travel to use it like that.

What do you guys think about a James Bond - style bumper?
Maybe a winch that pops up from mowhere.. or a spare tire that swings itself out? ... or up!
