Hi Guys
I'm giving my
brethren a heads up before I post it on Craigslist.
Well the time has come to sell the XJ. My Back problems and two kids that need a car are the reason for me selling it. It's an 89' XJ, stock 4.0 motor, runs, registered and it smogs. It has 35" tires and 5:38/5:41 gears. Running gear is out of a 78 Bronco so you get a spooled 9" rear with alloy axles and Richmond and a HP D44 with Richmond gears up front with Warn gold hubs. Rubicon express leafs in the rear and Rubicon ZJ springs up front. Total lift is about 10". Up front there is a Ramsey 8K lb. winch mounted on a custom bumper. It has 2x4 rock sliders and custom rear bumper. It's located in Poway which is just north of San Diego. The sale/trade will include ALL of my 4X4 PARTS AND ACCESSORIES!! So you will get extra axles, solenoids, snatch block, chains and straps for the winch, 2 high lift jacks, spare 35" tire, lots of stuff!
I'm looking to trade it for a clean bone stock XJ or small car for my daughter.
Ok, now the What's wrong with it statement!
While it is mechanically sound (I drove it from Sacramento to San Diego) it is a used 4x4 that has gone thru most of the northern California trails like the Rubicon, Barrett lake, Fordyce trail and others so it has body damage!
It needs rear tires and other minor stuff but you are welcome to check it out!
