The Bad
-leaks a LITTLE bit of oil from Oil filter housing O-rings (very easy fix, not even enough leaking to have to even add oil in between oil changes. and oil is changed every 3000 miles with castrol syntec 10w30 and chrysler oil filter)
-transfer case has a very slight leak
The clearcoat is non existent lol
-interior isnt minty.. (mud stains and whatnot. no carpet... etc... what do u expect?)
-front tires have some cupping and road noise.. i would say there at about 50% tread (what do u expect?)
-rear tires have about 60% tread life. no major cupping
-Gas guage and oil press. guage dont work in cluster. but i do have a gas guage and oil press. guage on the A pillar that work fine.
-second fan isnt hooked up yet but will come with the jeep.

Previous Owner can vouch for all the work done as well.

I know i am probably missing a lot of stuff, but this is the jist of it so far. i am sure ill see more things ive mised and will post them up later!

ill get more pics tomorow in the day time.

*jeep is sold as is. in Maryland, it qualifes for historic tags. I have them on there now. No inspection, No emmissions, AND NO HASSLE FROM POLICE. also my insurance is 18$ / month lol...

there is A LOT OF MONEY int his jeep. dont let the outward appearance trick you.. why pretty up something on the outside that is going to get bent up?

this thing is a monster on trails and runs awesome.

just my .02 guy you might want to lower your price on the rig that needs that much work...your in the same price range as rigs on here that are in a lot better mechanical condition as well as cosmetically....maybe subtract 3gs....not bad and i know your probably going to get offended by this but it is what it is...GLWS

oil filter o rings take maybe an hour to do.. thats all i really see mechanicly bad about this jeep...?

Reduce 3k? Maybe if it was in this condition stock. I won't say anything about the price but I can vouche this is a very solid jeep. Looks like a total bucket but if you're wheeling it who cares? Find a trail rig on the east coast with ZERO rust - its impossible.

T-case takes an hour to seal up, so do the filter o rings. A gauge cluster is 25 bucks at the yard, And the fan is easy to hook up. Good luck with the sale Dan.

thanks and it does have aftermarket a pillar guages that work for gas and oil pressure.

agreed the bad is easy to fix....it was just my .02 you don't have to listen to it. Good luck with the sale man

thanks man! aint here to sound like an asshole. i know the price is sorta high.. but it has a lot done to it.. this isnt a mall crawler that you see that looks pretty and rides liek shit... it looks liek shit and rides pretty. this bad boy gets almost 19mpg as well as drive at a steady 75mph on the highway at about 2,300 rpms.

ive taken this thing on good distance trips and has never failed me!!

if anyone wants, i can put a parts price list of everything that was done to this rig.. its a lot... the power steering pump assymbly is alost $600.00, and the shifter assembly is close to $400.00 not including the nice gearsets of a TJ trnsmission that is in there along with a new clutch...

and just a reminder this jeep has literally NO RUST AT ALL... NO RUST!

At least throw in the spare at that price. :dunno:

how have I not seen you driving around in that thing??? I work in Olney

Damn lifted cherokee's on the east coast go for alot of coin. Here in the northwest no where close to asking price. But who cares what you ask for it. Thats up to you. Good luck with the sale. That xj has some potential!

it's built well from the specs - needs some TLC. If I were to put an offer on it it'd be around 4-4.5k.

i would sell for $4800 before this weekend. FIRM ONLY BEFORE THIS WEEKEND IS OVER....

AND REMEMBER THIS RIG HAS NO RUST AT ALL... NOT A SPEC. AND THE FRAME IS STRAIT AS AN ARROW.
