Anybody know anything about typical layout for temporary camping spots? Our local club is having an event and I've been tasked with some of the logistical issues. I am thinking that the typical spot should be jeep plus a pup tent, or a pop-up tent, works out to about 15x30 I guess (including padding for doors/fold outs/etc). Will have a couple of large 5th wheels too. Need space for traffic in between the aisles too.

What is typical for events like KOH, or other kind of overnighting events?

15x30 is nowhere big enough if there will be RVs there.
20x30 or even 40.
And, yea you should have traffic isles between the sites.
You don't want people driving through other's camp sites.

On average I'd say 20x30 for tent campers and 30x40 or 50 for RVers if space isn't a big deal.

You'd obviously want to keep them separate. Generator exhaust into your tent would suck.

KOH spots are 40x80.

I've been to other events that are 30x50.
