Ive got a 98 4.0 short block that has a detonation hole on the #2 piston, im parting it all out, all motor parts and accesories from the motor are for sale. the head is an 0630 that i feel is good but it is known the jeep was ran hot for a short distance so if you want it, to have it checked i will let you have it cheap if you pick it up. Also selling the AW-4 transmission, trans computer, wiring ect.

If you need anything just post or PM me an offer or question. i will ship small stuff but it you want large items you must pick up in western NC at my house.

Ok but as stated above the jeep was ran hot for a short distance,, i didnt see any sign of water in the motor and no sign of a blown head gasket or cracked head. when the piston developed the detonation hole it put some small nicks in the combustion chamber but i think it is fine.

If you can get someone to pick it up for you, you can inspect it before you pay me, if you dont like it or think something is wrong with it, just trash it and all is good.

that would be great, i have a large load of parts im going to go get in one trip here in a week or two i can paypal you money once i look at it, im not much worried about the overheat as long as the head isnt cracked i can work with it
