About year ago I started a thread at http://priuschat.com/threads/engine-link-for-iphone.123707/#axzz3D8XjZK5u. Learned a lot from that forum and made improvement for the app with their help. The app works well with Prius cars.
It will be great if people here could help me to make the app work better with XJ.

Apple product used to have restriction on Bluetooth support (Basically iPhone/iPad/iPod requires BT data device to have a special Apple authentication chip.)
Starting from iPhone4s, iPad3, there is no restriction on Bluetooth low energy. so iPhone 4s or later, iPad3 or later will work with Bluetooth Low Energy adapter.
