The Dems are poised to lose both houses and eventually the next Presidential election. They still hurt from the Busch Gore loss and figure they have been robbed in the past.
Chicago is famous for rigged elections and winning by hook or crook. Obama brought much of the Chicago political cadri with him to Washington. The ends justify the means.
They steal the next election and the right decides to take a page from the lefts playbook, riots, organizes, demonstrates and generally goes nuts.
The Left aren't fools and can see where this may be headed and realize they are seriously outnumbered in firepower. So they have been expanding many LEO and associated law enforcement organizations. Especially those that are traditionally left leaning, while weakening those organizations that are historically right leaning, like the U.S. military. Any way you look at it, with all loyal government agencies combined, they are still outnumbered 50 to 1.
You can micro attack my scenario, but it is meant to be thought provoking and painted with a broad brush. Kind of a hope for the best, but prepare for the worst kind of scenario.
Been my experience, social issues are kind of like a pendulum, they swing to the left, then swing to the right. The more pronounced the swing the more pronounced the correction.
It can get really ugly, LE has been alienating the citizenry for a long time, one voter at a time. IMO actually growing decent and producing more criminals than they deter and/or just unnecessarily making enemies.
The deciding factor in the next election may be the Latinos. Historically Reagan, Busch and most other Republican Presidents have carried a large Latino vote (percentage). In other words, without the Latinos, there historically isn't much chance of a Republican, Traditionalist, Constitutional right leaning victory. Immigration reform can be construed as racist, whether it is or isn't is irrelevant, it just looks that way and tends to feed the radical rights generally racist attitudes and agenda.
It can't happen here, is likely just what many Governments thought a half a year before it did happen.
The down side is most revolutions end up with a socialist type government and the left may be banking on this and are taking a long term view, to solidify their positions.
