Durango steering box-pitman arm fit

I installed the Durango box a year ago, and kept the stock pitman arm. I just recently upgraded to one ton steering and bought a new pitman arm (reamed out for the link). Both pitman arms didn't slide up all the way onto the splined pitman shaft. It seems like there is enough thread for the nut to grip, but there is also a lot of spline showing above the arm. Should I be concerned? Driving it for a year off and on, moderate wheeling, seems ok.

I took a arm off one box reinstalled it on my box changed boxes then removed same arm again and put it on a different box.
It never seemed to go on the same as it came off. There never was a issue coming loose or any steering issues.
