Drill Bit Size

I need to put another set of holes in my custom long bracket, The arms use the same size bolts as the stock lower control arms. Does somebody know what size drill bit I need to make the holes, I'm thinking it was around 1/2", but I don't recall.

the bolt is a 9/16" bolt


a 9/16" drill bit in anything less than a drill press would be perfect...

if you are dirlling it on the car - the slop from not holding the drill perfectly will do nicely for easier alignment...
