Do not support Randy's Ring and Pinion or Yukon products

Sorry to hear about the run around though, with a RRP sales guy. I have dealt with only a few there and know that I get true answers to every question when I contact them and have never had a issue with back orders or inventory issues, cause they tell me if I am looking at a wait and see part.<o:p></o:p>

I beleive it is the warranty manager.

My other dealing in the past have sucked with them. They are too pushy as well.

Being in distribution, I deal with vendors for a living. One of the things I must consider is how the end user is going to get serviced should there be the occasional issue. I have chosen to not carry certain vendors because of their warranties (or lack there of).

I guess you could say you got the shaft....

By not getting the shaft.

UPDATE:
I spoke to the Warranty Manager and they are sending me a Dana 60 stub shaft in lieu of the Dana 44 stub shaft. The Dana 60 stub shaft is a more expensive item than the Dana 44 stub so I did come out ahead. Unfortunately it took some prodding on my part.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

glad you got it all worked out. so are you going to do a 60 stub on the opposite side as well?

The 60 stuff is for a different axle.

I dont think you were dealing with the right guy. PM sent.

Yukon gear does not make gears or any of the parts ...their name is just on the box ,As they buy products in bulk.at cost and re-sell them at a savings based on them buying in bulk...So how people are talking about Yukon Gear as the manufactirer I have no idea ?

Not entirely true.

can you show me a tooling shop owned by "Yukon gear" where Yukon makes any drivtrain parts like R/P or axles .

No I can not. But Randy has a few exclusive factorys that produce parts for only Him and not for everyone else. Can you show me one of the other drivetrain companies out there that does that? Most contract with what ever importer or direct, for buying and then just box state side. So brand A axle for a dana 60 is the same run as maybe brand X's dana 60 axle.

Yukon DOES OWN a few Gleason Machines, and is setup to produce (when, is still unknown at least to me as of right now) thier own gears. Not currently being done to the best of my knowledgte. But he is in the process.

Yukon does a 'lot sampling of 10%' on product IN House, who else can or does that? Or even sends out product to get a Accurate sampling of product when it reaches thier facility, to make sure that the finish product, is within all specs, before being boxed?

Just a few facts that sets Yukon product apart from the rest.

and how about a cool video just cause, its aweful to have to give a heavily modified street bike a second lead in the 1/4 mile, and only whoop him by a few feet in a streetable diesel truck :)

i hate the fact that many people will be directed here by google, yet theres really nothing but decent-to-good customer service. they shouldve told you to XXXX off, you had allready made the hater thread..

i dont see any reason not to buy from them, in fact i feel like i SHOULD buy from them, seeing as they treated you right.

This is how almost every OEM in the US works! Im sure that Yukon specs what they want and has a QA team that makes sure they get quality stuff. You almost never see a large company that actually assembles its own product.

What your implying is they private label (buy someones product and specs) and put their name on it. This may be the case but I dont think it is.

Actually I'm saying I've got Yukon boxes opened them up and found Dana Spicer /precision gear in the boxes ...
