deep creek 5-16-09

worn out 31's w/ open/open would be tough - personally, iwouldn't do it, but it's not my rig - we can figure out a way to get u thru. rock sliders would be nice to have, but not absolutely necessary on this trail. I'll know in a day or 2 if i have an open seat for jay - where in redlands r u? I'm off tennessee & pine.
i wasn't planning on another run this time due to time constraints - however, the next weekend might have something in store! i'm sure if u wanted to run JB also, someone would wanna go - socal bill asked me the same thing

the start to deep creek is in lake arrowhead, and finishes at green valley lake. it's not a LONG trail (maybe 2 1/2 miles), but is demanding. If anyone has questions about this trail, call me after 9 am at 909-855-0026

I did part of T6/Dishpan/n34/deep creek on a quad a couple of weeks ago.
Damn it is a lot harder in the quad.....
The section right before the exit at the concrete bridge (T6 crossing) has become a decent obstacle again...
Have fun

You mean wheel in the AM and M&G after? sure! ill have my son but im sure he will have fun. ill bring one of my lil bros to keep em busy. im thinking of brining my video camera and tripod so we can record some wheeling footage. what ya think?

Al, you need to get those rock sliders on yor pimp ass heep ASAP!

The video camera sounds like a good idea but dont take away from your gettin in on the fun.

i'm in for sure now! mommas gonna take the kids. so if you need a ride jay, i will have an extra seat. however, as i am a rookie rock jockey, you will have to sign a liability waiver.

Frankie! you coming? if i am going to try it, you should too.

Skwerly... i have a spare axle shaft in the back of my heep. you need it to get you going? you can pick one up for me later. hopefully i won't need it after this weekend.

Well come out then. As a good friend of mine would say, "The only thing stopping you is fear". :spin1:

I had a lot of excuses to back out last time. I wasn't that comfortable in my new ride. My son and his friend were with me. Last thing I need is to get in trouble with someone elses kid, let alone mine.

This time it will only be me and Jay, wearing his helmet, egging me on. Besides, I got a little bit of rock practice in last week.

haha, i might just see you guys out there. Depends how early we can leave our campsite, friday night might be rough ;)

this is gonna be a blast - to make sure we all meet up at the right place, here's some directions - if on the 10 E/B, 10E to the 210 w (formerly hwy 30) in redlands to Baseline, turn left & the shell station is right there on your left.
if on the 210 E/B - 210 to baseline (just past san manuel casino), turn right & shell station on your left.
if anyone has questions or gets lost or is running late, please call me at 909-855-0026
thanx,
terry
