Dana 30 axle shafts w/brand new spicer 5-760 x joints

I got a set of dana 30 shafts that i put new spicer 5-760 x joints in last weekend....never installed shafts...They were the wrong shafts for my 89..they wouldnt work with my hubs.

$80(joints alone were $50)...just trying to recoup some $$ for the other set of shafts i had to buy and joints i had to install

What was the problem with them fitting? I have a 98 with HP D30. If these fit id take them

Renix hubs are different than later model hubs.

They will fit your 98.

Ahh gotcha. I assume due to the whole CAD thing?

Brakes were different on renix also. Chryco changed/updated them in 91.
The shafts are plug n pray on renix hubs as well.
