Hallo. In a handbook of parts, I can see 2 types of steering knuckles with different partnumbers.
'89-'89 and '90-'01. So maybe not take a risk in swapping them. :sad1:
The knuckles changed in 90 to a one piece design. On the 89 they had a "bolt on" caliper bracket and the uni-bearings/hubs are different. If you swap all of it, knuckles and hubs, you should be ok. Me personally I would go with the more available set-up that most of the XJ's used.
only reason I ask is i have a 89 with the jcr 1 ton setup and i would like to install it on a 1999 Sorry i got the years wrong earlier...I was thinking of to other cars
