cold transmission wont shift!

ok you guys when i just start my car when it is cold it wont engage right away. do you know anything about that. i mean it will go it is just not fast like usuall. ohh the car has 219 k on it. could that be it.?

You might try some Lucas oil in the tranny. It has worked well in many of my rigs for that exact purpose.

Avoid additives and other snake oils. It might help if you mentioned what year and whether you're talking about an auto or manual tranny.

I've had the same experience, it's not the oil. Your seals are worn out. need a major repair soon.

First of all, never call your JEEP a CAR again...

Secondly, theres another thread going discussing the same issue.. here in oem tech... titles "will bad nss cause shifting problem".. or something of the like.. might read that
