clean waggy front end at PAP

the south side yard in wilmington has a 4 headlight waggy front end, its nice and clean, its on a black wagoneer with red interior. figures i find one right after i get rid of the MJ i wanted to put it on :doh:

there is also an isuzu with a d44 under it and cross drilled disc brakes, I was going to grab it but i wasn't sure if the width was right for an XJ.


there is also a 97+ at the wilmington ecology yard, its purple and has power folding mirrors, and the left rear tail light is clean and looks brand new, right rear is cracked. most of the interior is still there but the dash has been hacked apart. center console is still there. front clip is trashed it was hit hard on the passenger front corner.

a few OEM tire carriers on the XJs at ecology as well.

not much at the north PAP wilmington yard, everything was picked pretty clean.

got my 8.8 with discs, and the driveshaft flanges i needed, time to get my XJ back together

which PAP is the waggy at? i am heading to the ontario one in the morning. i need that waggy front grill. the tailights would be a plus aswell as i picked up the wrong ones last week. the waggy ones are all red instead of red and yellow. plus they have a crome strip around them.
duh, just re-read your post "south side of wilmington". going to try and do both places then. thanks for the heads up.

its at the wilmington PAP yard, there are 2. one on the north side of PCH and one on the south side. it is in the south side yard, in the back by the vans. its black with porno red interior. i didnt look at the tail lights.

very cool. mine is a white woody with that porno red interior. id love to swap out the complete interior, but i think that woukld cost a fortune at a junk yard. might have to wait for a freebee someday. but if there are some nice red peices i can clean mine up with, then that will do for now. mostly need the grill though. mine is broken above the aux. light.

Do you refer to the huge one where you drive up the drive way as the north side or south side?

stix, the grill is all there in good shape, the aux light lenses are pretty yellowed out tho.

thanks man, not to worried about the aux. lights. going to replace those with aftermarket. one got hit hard and thats what must have busted the grill just above it. didnt happen to notice the dooor panels did you? mine are red, but have faded to (hold your hat) GREEN. :gee:

im having trouble picturing them, but i know the seats looked like they hadnt even been sat in, i was suprised at how clean the interior was. usually the red ones take a beating cause everyone hates that color im thinking now the red interior might not have been in the waggy, but in another XJ there... it would have been right there next to it tho, should be easy enough to find.

there were a couple 8.25s, yes. there were only 2 XJs at the PAP south yard, and they both had d35s. i saw one at the north side yard but it was pretty well stripped, i didnt check the rear end. there are 4 or 5 XJs at the wilmington ecology yard and at least one of em had a 8.25, maybe 2.

didnt make it out there today, but scored some nice stuff at the ontario PAP. was that red interior the bright red, or the dark maroon?
