Coming in from the SJ crowd(trading my '79 Cherokee Chief for a '90 Cherokee), 1991 was the official end of the Grand Wagoneer. It was nearly $30,000... even that long ago, just think of the inflation factor on that figure!

It was a high class vehicle. Probably the best full size SUV ever made. The only thing that sucks about it is the lazy horsepower output (torque was great however). I don't even think the emissions choked AMC 360 made 150 hp. That makes the 4.0 H.O. look like a hot rod at 190 hp.

For about the same money you could get a decked out Cadillac Deville back then.
