CheapXJ 2.0 - The rust free edition

[CheapXJ]

89 4.0 auto/242, 207k, rust free, baked paint, dirty but complete interior in decent shape. Power everything but mirrors. No sunroof. Runs and drives, $600. Needs a water pump and a power steering leak fixed. Dash ground is bad and some light related stuff inside and out.

Same color and trim as the Cheep when I first got it.

New brakes and new tires and the grille is upside down.



So I fixed that with the last grille from the Cheep (kept it before it got completely broken)



Also found the last grille from the old MJ, and put it on the "new" one.



Added it to the current collection in the yard.



So history...



Can repeat...



Itself. (But this time in white, too sunny for black in Florida)


Maybe not exactly this way...


Either way, this year is off to a good start, lol

And I still have this 4door thing with a pile of miles on it blowin oil all over the U.S.

I can't wait to start rebuilding it, I think Matt might still have the old Factory D44 from the original Cheep too!

I was thinking the same thing. I remember Cheap XJ plain as day from when I first joined this site 12 years ago! Awesome
