Centering Pin Length?

Hey all! :wave: I have a set of Rough Country 3.5" leaf packs that I want to add 2.5* RE degree shims to. What length centering pin do I need? And are they 5/16"?

Centering pins are usually extra long, and trimmed to fit.

I typically use Allen head bolts. IIRC, XJ is 5/16. MJ is 3/8. I used 3.5" bolts when I used did my bastard pack for my MJ. They are long for my specific application, but am contemplating adding another leaf.
Using bolts VS pins, you may need to drill out the hole in the perch if it is factory.
