CEL 41

Hey all,

The grocery getter died on my wife last night and when I checked the CEL, it threw a 41 code. "Fault in charging system or no field current." Am I just looking at a bad alternator or something more involved? Any help will be appreciated, I hate electrical problems!

Well, in my case, it was simply a bad alternator. I hope this helps anyone searching in the future.
