I have had two Crane Cams die and will never use them again. Both times they tried to blame it on wrong break in or improper oil or a high volume pump which was not the case. I think they just have a really crappy product and dont recomend using anything of theirs. The cheap sealed power RV cam I had in my old Jeep ran better and longer than the two Crane cams I have had. So recomendations on cam? Buy from somebody else and use Rotella oil. I have researched motor oils and a lot of them dont have the additives needed for a flat tappet cam with higher spring pressures. Theres a post over in the speed freaks section of Jeepsunlimited that has all sorts of info on motor oil and the removed additives.
